As a fellow adjunct History professor my path crossed with Morris quite often. He would be leaving a classroom as I was arriving. Often, we would launch into a conversation - oh, how I enjoyed those conversations. He would tell me about the war or share a poem he had written. As we chatted, my students filled the room and I was always amazed how instead of retreating to their phones for a few minutes before class started, they were instead listening intently to Professor Spector. We loved him, loved having him on our campus and in our classrooms. He is irreplaceable. Blessings to him in his rest and to his family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Cathy Cowing
