Obituary of Florence Irene Brottman

Florence Irene Brottman, 86, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away Monday June 25 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, NJ. Born in Babylon, NY, Florence moved to Rochester, NY, resided in Washington, NJ, Roosevelt, NJ and then settled in East Windsor in 1977. She was married to her husband Jay in 1976 until his passing in 2011. She continued her career as a teacher for over 25 years with the Millstone Township Public Schools. Florence was a lifetime member of the New Jersey Education Association. She was also an avid reader in her free time and loved animals. Florence is survived by her dear Son, Louis and his wife Natalie; Brothers, Seymour of Babylon, NY, Morris and his wife Anita of New Hyde Park, NY, Nathan of Babylon, NY; Sister, Ilene of Middletown; Step-Granddaughters, Stacey and Alicia as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held graveside 1 PM Wednesday, June 27 at Freehold Hebrew Benefit Society, Route 33, Freehold, NJ.
