Obituary of Ida Pittel

Ida Pitell, 91, of Howell, NJ passed away Wednesday September 27 2017, at Bella Terra in Jackson, NJ. Born in Budapest, Hungary, she moved to the Bronx at the age of ten where she resided until her retirement then moving to Brick in 1988 and later settling in Howell. Ida was a dedicated teachers’ aid for over 20 years for the New York Board of Education. She was a needle work enthusiast in her spare time. Ida is predeceased by her husband Kenneth, daughter Robin and son-in-law Franklin Lichtenfeld. She is survived by her loving daughter Amy Kahn and her husband Joel, Howell NJ, as well as her grandchildren Alyssa, Danielle and Jason. Funeral services will be held 10:45 AM Monday October 2 2017 in the Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus NJ. Memorial contributions in Ida’s memory may be directed to The American Cancer Society. Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
