Obituary of Anna Green

Anna Green, 99, of Lakewood died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Leisure Park, Lakewood. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Manalapan before settling in Lakewood in 2009. Before retirement, Anna worked alongside her husband in their family owned publishing business in Brooklyn, NY. She was a supporter of ORT and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Max and Ida Rosen; husband, Solomon (1985); and daughter, Sheila Geteles (2016); she is survived by her son, Alan and his wife, Carol of Texas; brother, Abraham Rosen of Margate, FL; son-in-law, Robert Geteles of Manchester, NJ; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 2, 2016 at Wellwood Cemetery, Pinelawn, NY. Donations in Anna’s honor may be made to Hadassah, P.O. Box 1100, NY, NY 10268-1100.
